Jonathan Saxon has over twenty years experience as an educator. He began his career as a public elementary school teacher in the Greater Los Angeles area. After twelve years of teaching at the K-6 level, Jonathan transitioned to teaching at the college level. For ten years, Jonathan has been teaching History courses at Antelope Valley College and Los Angeles Valley College.

In addition, Jonathan is an accomplished writer and editor. His work includes over twenty publications that cover scholarly, music, and tech related topics. Publications such as the Oxford Encyclopedia of Latin American History, Smithsonian Folkways, and Tape Op Magazine have featured his work.

Moreover, Jonathan is an experienced drummer and percussionist. He has performed in the United States, Europe, and Japan. His playing has been featured on recordings ranging from the legendary jazz drummer Grant Calvin Weston to the classic metal band Armored Saint.
